Subject: Multisync monitors

I don't know if you remember the couple of messages I posted,
but I have a Nec Multisync 3D hooked up to a Mega 2. I had a little
trouble making the Switch until I realized I hadn't grounded the sheilded
cable properly between the units. Now that it's working - It's the nicest
looking display on an atari I've ever seen! It has about the same specs as
you mentioned on the Omnimont (or whatever it was called) but has a .28
dot pitch, and a misconvergence of less than 0.6mm. The input signal is
TTL positive, ANALOG 0.7 Vp-p/75Ohm Positive and the Sync signals are Pos/Neg.
It also is microprocessor controlled with a resident memory base of
pre-programmed screen and input configurations and digital controls - not
trimmers and POTS. That is a nice feature when switching between Rez modes.
Anyways - Take an extra look at this monitor - it's nice!
